Not surprised, that was a bargain IMO. I have one myself and wouldn't;t want to sell for as low as that but hopefully both parties are happy  and it's gone to a good home.

If someone told you a couple years ago that one could buy a small signed classic Hirst original for the same price as one of his terrible open edition giclee prints definitely no one would have believed this. But here we are. Interesting times.
(Might help his market if he stops releasing all this horrible garbage every few months)

Love the image, but guessing all these ‘trial proofs’ are fake.

If you want an affordable Warhol what would you suggest as a starter? I would probably avoid Sunday B. Morning given they’re mass produced.

These are blatant fakes which are worthless. Sunday b mornings are also worthless - decoration, fine- but don’t think they are an investment.
If you are looking for a Warhol save until you can afford a signed/numbered work such as committee 2000, watercolor paint kit or an unsigned authenticated cow wallpaper. There are few options under 15k
