Yellow edge thing is rubbish, if stored correctly you would get yellow edges. Only know as I sold mine recently from the original run.

Most of the 40 odd i brought from closing down sale arrived direct from POW with faint yellowing around the edges.

I bought a Tesco Soup can poster but the edges are slightly damaged.

I was told it would cost $75-100USD.

Does anyone know if it can be fixed and how to do it?

Is it an expensive problem to fix? It has 6 instances of marks on the right edge.

Please don't do this. A paper restorer will be able to sort that for not a huge cost, happy to give you details of some in the UK.

I'm wondering if I just mount the edge behind a matt board for now will it get worse?

Everything else I have at the moment is matted.

There’s a lot of crazy prices right now on Banksy unsigned prints and posters. The going rate for a Soup Cans seems to be around £1200 for a good one. Who thinks Soup Cans prices will follow those of say Flags or Monkey Parliament.?

Can you afford to buy a couple of unsigned banksy prints on the secondary market now ?
I have four banksy prints , one unsigned , I could not buy in on the secondary market now unless I sell part of my collection
On this note I think that the posters will follow the price of flags from 2012-2015 , posters are now the entry point for most new collectors of banksy
I think an even bigger uptrend will be seen in the boxsets in the near future

How can you compare the two? One is a limited edition run with rock solid authentication from Pest Control, the other is an open edition poster with no proper provenance/authentication which PC will never involve themselves with.

With an easily reproduced poster I get the concern for fakes.
But was wondering, does anyone know for sure if there are fakes going around of these yet?

But there are many purchasing monkey parliament thinking They are the same as unsigned print

Many that buy do not understand the difference and process of an lithograph and screenprint

A lot of people buying in as banksy is seen as a status of wealth and investment

If people were so aware of these intricacies they would not purchase all the fake crap on eBay that often sells for up to 4k
The market will dictate
Many with a long following of banksy stated that the Peckham rocks were uncollectible and worthless yet they sell at 100 times cost not everyone has knowledge and are buying in on the brand

That tube looks pretty legit to me, although I dont remember having the logo on the Bristol museum posters tubes....I will send you a pic if I can find it.

On second inspection , its nothing like the ones I had, but im sure someone will know for sure.
