Opinions on Joseph Klibanksy?, by kjg on May 12, 2023 22:17:17 GMT 1, Was wondering what you think of the Dutch artist Joseph Klibanksy? He's obviously rather contemporary than urban artist but some of you might know him as well...    Been following him for nearly ten years now and generally like the humor in his art but have the feeling that he is recently busier with jet-setting and influencing on IG than working and developing as an artist. In the past, his works were regularly sold via auction houses but haven't seen this happen any more recently. He is represented by Maddox and other galeries though but there is not much happening on the secondary market. Happy to hear your opinions. For full disclosure, I own two prints of him.

If it was the Play It Loud design... which I like but missed out on... then I'd have been a bit more excited about trying to win it. On the bright side, I ordered 4 postcards with it, and they (accidentally?) gave me an extra one to go with it. Now, what to do with a Shrigley postcard of two naked cartoon guys standing around that says "I love you"?

I thought the release was going to be at 1:00 pm London Time, and by the time I realised I was 45 minutes late, but hopefully still in with a chance. Over 820 out of the first 1000 books have been sold at the time of writing this, so it wonโt be long before the first 1000 are sold out. They said they will update the website listing once the 100 prints / 1000 books are allocated. I got a UPS delivery notification for mine less than 4 hours after ordering so these are already boxed up and ready to ship. The status for mine is than it has already cleared customs so they are not wasting any time getting them delivered.
