Very true! I think much of the time the messages behind art are very different than the artists actual views, but they know what buttons to press with people  and build up the socialist, rebellious image as that's what many collectors expect.
I tend to agree, it's very easy to make images of protestors and stuff whilst at the same time making art for people who invest in companies involved in the arms trade etc.
Plus there is no difference between the people who call them selves socialists and capitalists these days. They are both opportunists who exploit others and cover up the truth.
Political correctness is used by some to hide the facts.
Regarding the very beautiful with a message JBoy print. My view is JBoy art is just a natural progression, evolution of Banks y's money making image making ethics.

I mean it's common to see the composition off, and the attention to detail not really there. When I look through JBoys work, in my opinion he clearly has a natural artistic eye, and the skills to know how to refine an image to it's very best.

I think quite a few artists have done the same thing, in that Banksy has overlooked some of his best images, and sometimes released not the best quality prints. Dolk was another artist with a similar style who also had great skills in picking the right images to release, and doing it all to a high quality.
