I registered on Live Auctioneers just as the auction started and was approved by 16.30 - maybe they use a different approval system?

Dreweatts Art Auctions π¬π§, by Harveyn on Dec 11, 2012 20:35:44 GMT 1, Just checked my emails and I registered to bid on the 10th with Live Auctioneers and got the pending email immediately. Having used Live Auctioneers before I assumed it would just be processed. So when I logged in at 4:00pm I was surprised to see the pending message on my screen.
I have just found an email in my spam that came in on the 11th 8 hours after I registered from Bloomsbury Auctions asking me to fax or email proof of I.D. How very annoying and considering I have bid through Live Auctioneers before a formality that seems pointless.

Dreweatts Art Auctions π¬π§, by Deux Spin on Dec 12, 2012 0:18:58 GMT 1, Some bargains to be had, and some pieces went at stupid prices.
LOT 6, Joe Black, went for around Β£10,000 - I don't get it?
Yet the Adam Neate unsold, the wooden BAST barely broke Β£1,500 and LA2/Haring unsold.
The Retna was very nice, not sure what the market value is on his work but I was tempted by that piece.
