Miss Bugs 5th June Brighton, by Heavyconsumer on Jun 13, 2008 17:21:20 GMT 1, some muppet called "PIMP" comes into various threads on here, insulting the intelligence of people who's tastes differ from his.....
He must either be an idiot, an arse-hole, or both. Let's face it, he's called pimp! The second option has been proven by the nature of his posts (almost all of them), I think the name kind of says the rest. Surely he isn't worth responding to. As someone with superior knowledge, his refusal to share that knowledge and insistance on bullying his inferiors, tells us all what type of human being he is. Better off ignoring him. Maybe after a while he'll go away and take his frustrations out on others elsewhere instead.

Miss Bugs 5th June Brighton, by scavos on Jun 13, 2008 17:36:56 GMT 1, Theycallmestephen, You did well with that purchase...was only looking at ebay 10mins ago and thought what a bargain (some other great prices on MB bits - get them while they are cold!) It looks like this is the time to buy - funny really, the show was great last week - I guess everybody who was a fan attended and spent too much on originals! Scavos picked one up framed from Art Republic last week - and the hand finishing was top draw, I think you have got a cracker... Enjoy.
Any excuse to get her out! ;D
themighyreds - I didn't know this had been released as XL too!!! Nice float mount and simple frame job on yours fella. Very effective and lets the print do the talking.

Miss Bugs 5th June Brighton, by themightyreds on Jun 13, 2008 18:08:51 GMT 1, Cheers Si. I only managed to get the xl thanks to a tip-off from fellow forum-ite Retrome, and even then i had to negotiate some more to get it!! Well pleased with it though. Love the way the skeletons 'zing-out' in your photo too!

I don't see why it is such an issue how long Miss Bugs has been going, its all outstanding work. Don't see what difference this makes?
As for being a bit like insect. What about Banksy/Blek? Who cares.
Good stuff Mightyreds/Scavos. Quite liking the white skeletons tho mine are red?

Miss Bugs 5th June Brighton, by retrome on Jun 13, 2008 20:56:05 GMT 1, Great Pics Gastrochick...I need to lose weight! Wouldn't it be nice at one of these events if you could identify fellow forum members. I met Dogant, but I think Themightyreds was there too and we didn't meet up, etc. Maybe have to carry a copy of the FT in future.

So Coach, other than you and I possibly need to lose weight (guessing?) don't you think it would be great for fellow forum contributors to be able to flag themselves somehow? Thinking about it, as far as I know MB has never been advertised anywhere and therefore the only people probably whoever were likely to be there were members of this forum or frequenters of AR

Maybe your camera wasn't working properly. LOL. The jelly beans were very nice btw. I forgot to collect a badge set too. Do you think Lindsey would be so kind to send me them on with my purchase? :-)

Miss Bugs 5th June Brighton, by edmonds on Jun 20, 2008 14:24:00 GMT 1, when I spoke to Dan he said that all the prints are in the process of being handfinished my miss bugs and that they will all be sent out once the show has finished.
He also mentioned about having a choice on delivery, either having the print sent out flat between hardboard or rolled and sent in a tube.
Im getting mine sent out flat

Miss Bugs 5th June Brighton, by edmonds on Jun 20, 2008 15:10:24 GMT 1, I dont know what effect rolling a handfinished print has on the extra work miss bugs has added.
The handfinishing looked pretty thick when I saw it at the show so I would think rolling it could possibly crack the paint?
Anyone recieved a miss bugs print rolled before?

Miss Bugs 5th June Brighton, by themightyreds on Jun 20, 2008 16:10:35 GMT 1, All the ones i've ordered direct from MB come in tubes and so far show no signs of damage for being rolled. The paper/stock they use takes an age to flatten out though...
