Funny (not really) to see an edition I tried to submit for an earlier auction, but was told was easily available on eBay... now for sale in this auction... along with a ton of other stuff that's easily available on eBay.

I have a strong feeling that all those types of pieces are just bought by Tate Ward themselves to be auctioned.

Looks like the majority of lots in this auction should be on ebay. Mostly very low end posters and bits padded out with a couple of better items.

I reached out to them for the first time with some stuff which would have easily sold and was told 15% sellers commission after I pay to ship them the items from the US, I quickly said no thank you.

You can negotiate depending on what you have for sale. I negotiated what I though was a fair percentage considering that they also get the buyers fees too. Make sure you factor in the VAT they also add to the sellers fees.
Have you tried to sell here? I’m sure you would find a buyer here and everyone’s a winner with no fees.

Correct mate, I'd say that is happening, a lot of these lower auction houses are buying tat and probably printing posters themselves also. So many posters on eBay thesedays, not so long ago posters were sought after also, now lots of people printing them and selling them.

Does anyone know how much it costs to have your winning piece collected and shipped from Tate Ward? Ive heard quotes of 500 float around but wanted to see if anyones gone through the process.

All depends on where its shipping to but if you're in the US its in the ball park (and it ships from UK). Also depends on the size of the piece.

I paid about 125 for a stik hip poster. Tate put you in contact with the logistics company to deal direct

It's the perfect edges that grind my gears... like when, as a kid, we were tasked with making ancient treasure maps at school and spent ages tearing the edges but being so careful as to not tear *too* much to not damage any of our carefully crafted subway drawing treasure map
