The Ebayers...., by romanywg on Apr 7, 2007 11:12:24 GMT 1, He justifies the price by saying 'one recently sold for £30,000!!!! and obviously is amazed by this price, hence the exclamation marks, then asks for just £5,000 less.

The Ebayers...., by tomhills1 on Apr 7, 2007 16:23:27 GMT 1, i've seen this print, its the same bloke i bought my grin reaper from, he also has one of 12 kate moss A/P. i love the story behind these rude coppers, not sure about the price but didn't andipa have a regular signed rude copper up for £26,000?
can someone confirm this: were they not on display at the turf war exhibition, the ten with "f*ck the police across them"?

The Ebayers...., by ABC on Apr 7, 2007 16:30:27 GMT 1, I think Andipa may have had one although I didnt see it when I was in there as they had sold a lot by then. I wouldnt mind it but the price is a little high for me. IMO it has to be the next most sort after print after Kate

like i said before, if all the history behind this print is kosher then it will always remain a very important piece. PLEASE! can someone confirm or deny that 10 were displayed at the turf war exhibition with the spray paint across them? i'd still, assuming i had the money, prefer to go via a gallery at a premium but i know this seller so would be happy to deal with him. any other seller on ebay i didn't, then i wouldn't.
rude copper original canvass i think andipa wanted £65,000 the signed copper £28,000, where does that leave this then in peoples opinions?

Just checked the price list, Andipa wanted 75K for their canvas.

bearing that in mind, this is pure speculation, but what you everyone say is a reasonable price in comparison?
bearing in mind a canvass should out-live us all there must surely be a ceiling for a print, no matter how exclusive.

The Ebayers...., by neutral on Apr 9, 2007 17:35:30 GMT 1, Since Andipa pushed the bar quite high, anything -/+ 10k below their canvas prices will be reasonable (in Banksy world of course as for 75K you probably get a smaller Warhol edition or a multiple of 12 by the Chapmans with spare cash to spend...).
For the print side of it I would say again anything below their prices too as a lot of galleries matched Andipa's prices. If they do want 28K for it, my guess and I am no expert in the matter, will be to say 20-22K will be a fair price.
I remember seing the same Copper at the Bank Robber Gallery. You might want to contact them as well as Artificial for more info on the piece. Might be a good idea to play each against the others if you are going to go for it...
