Graffitiprints attempt to stop the bots, by Rouen Cathedral on Jan 8, 2018 17:17:02 GMT 1, Don't be bitter you been caught out not bitter, you just saved me $$$$. My second copy should still be arriving unless you can guess my alt account. How much should I list for?
Never flip huh?
Why are you talking about listing it for sale?
Lol. Got to love when someone puts their foot in their mouth in the same thread.

Graffitiprints attempt to stop the bots, by clueless on Jan 8, 2018 17:18:52 GMT 1, I was told "This order was actually refunded back to you on the day due to an issue problem at checkout.".. However, I received no notification so when I emailed about a month later because I hadn't received the print.. That is where my suspicion started.
Problem at checkout, that's fine. My main concern is that I might have been mistakenly lumped into the "bot group" or "backdoor link group" that I didn't even know about until finding this thread.
Either way, it's in the past now. I was just looking forward to finally have scored my first Whatson at retail price instead of ebay prices.
Which is what prompted my question about 15 minutes ago. How does an order get refunded after a successful checkout? My understanding was that if there was a problem during checkout, the checkout would not have been successful.

Graffitiprints attempt to stop the bots, by Graffiti Prints on Jan 8, 2018 17:28:22 GMT 1, Ugh, what's annoying is Graffiti Prints will have the Tiger for sale for $800-$1000 during the next vault sale but couldn't honor your order. GP is lame AF and the only people supporting them are Noobs or VIP that get early access to every print.... Rather see GP have it for sale during the next vault sale then see you have it for sale 5 min after you checkout! Lol
We wait 18 months as a general rule, sometimes earlier but not often
we generally only keep 1-5 or 1-9 in an edition
Whatson tiger 1-9 we kept out of 195

I only refunded people who jumped the cart or had them on eBay and I knew 100% it matched up to a sale any doubt we don't refund
If you think that's not you I can look into it
email us mentioning this thread and I will look into why you were refunded

I can one hundred percent guarantee that I checked out just like everyone else. No idea how to even acquire a bot (no interest in one anyways) as well as I didn't know there was a backdoor link. Also, can guarantee that I've never listed a print on ebay that I've acquired from GP.
I always wait on the product page, refresh, and click add to cart and simply check out.
Email coming.

Graffitiprints attempt to stop the bots, by moron on Jan 9, 2018 12:30:08 GMT 1, Why have a backdoor in the first place, whats the marketing behind that?
Does it matter what buyers do with the prints once they are bought?
Do flippers help an artist sell more and for higher prices in the long run?

The backdoor isnโt intentional, itโs individuals with technical knowhow manipulating the web store.
Artists and galleries may feel a certain way about what happens to the prints once bought, sure they got paid but I imagine most want their work going to and enjoyed by collectors.
I think the only benefit they provide is a quick sell out. Which is desired by artists and galleries, as shown by below market value releases. The true value is determined by buyers not the sellers. I could even see one arguing flippers hurt long term value because they provide a source for collectors to buy from who only care about a quick decent profit. If only collectors bought an entire edition, those that did come to market would surely be wanting a greater price for a piece that they actually enjoy.

fast sell out & massive secondary market is how you drive the demand.
i know friends hire marketing pr firm, they literally hire atleast 600 people to stand in line for his store grand opening. i have seen marketing manipulation all the time. the key is to drive up the demand..

I wonder what sales pitch galleries use when a couple or single of moderatly wealthy professionals walk in to browse the art.
Something like, this artist gets rave reviews sell out exhibitions, you can see the great workmanship and uniqueness which makes this art a good investment etc etc etc.
Or basically this artist just nicks images off of google, puts them in photoshop, prints out the paper, and cuts out a stencil the adds a bit of hand finishing by chucking paint on it.

Unknown to the Majority , looks good on the wall , if have been ripped off the original artist usually gets a mini unexpected windfall payout later down the line .not right but everyone gets their dues eventually and original artist get exposure , to be ripped off in the first place they are unknown but obviously has talent to be copied?

recently i've changed my purchase back to original griffiti arts....
