Kind of hypocritical by many to hold down new folks looking to sell so they can sell their own pieces. 4 star members want to point fingers but then flip new pieces themselves. Many wanted the Pez Alter Ego but same folks criticizing for selling Soup Cans above were flipping Alter Ego day one.

I too would like to see more discussions on here and maybe the Sales Threads are pulled from the Latest Threads section and only in a Sales Only section and let buyers decide who to buy from.

This is a fantastic idea, I hadn't thought of that but truly why do we need a for sale area? Discussing art is what most people are here for. In one stroke it would remove all the issues I have with this place...

I'm not bother by the sales threads. I'm bothered that I know most of the artists being posted on there. The hype feeds on hype. Its feels kind of redundant and condescending, but somewhat still imperative to remind everyone on here that art is more than the 20 or so artists constantly discussed on here. Once individuals actually begin to care more being supporters of artist they actually like, rather than following whatever artist Complex is discussing or your favorite music artist is pushing, you'll see plenty of prints and art still available - and at somewhat affordable prices. I shouldn't know every artist you post in the pick up thread nor every artist in your home. And all your favorite artists shouldn't have multiple print releases sold out in minutes.

I clearly cant speak for others but I am sure the sentiment will be shared by almost everyone, that most members collect the artists that they like. It has zero to do with 'hype' I don't personally like invader for example. My favourite artists have never even been discussed (to the best of my knowledge).

Ah I don't really mind - my favourite artist is cept but I emailed him recently and he has effectively moved out of urban art unfortunately.

You make it sound like a wonderful deal. Dolk che is quite hard to find, its more like if someone is willing to swap a signed edition screen print with your poster.

Thanks for your comments. After the Soup Can hype here on the forum I decided to try a trade for a print which I would very like to have. I dont know the current value of the print but I don't believe in 1k prices on ebay. We will see
