Heads up...Swoon prints on AdHoc, by wimpy on Dec 8, 2007 23:32:46 GMT 1, The black bar at the bottom is hiding the description.
They are prints and it seems that the cardboard edition is going to be $800 each. Couldn't make out the other price.

Guilty pleasures....confession, by wimpy on Dec 7, 2007 18:30:55 GMT 1, Ugly Betty is wonderfully written. I am not a fan of TV in general, but a good show is a good show. No need to atone for that sin, Porky's-man.

Fans V Investors, by wimpy on Dec 1, 2007 23:07:45 GMT 1, As much as Laz deserves credit for doing what he has in making these artists rich, Silky should at least be entitled to a tug job behind a dumpster from Banksy, no?

Never seen such a lack of restraint (and grammar) from him.

I also enjoy the TV Boy but nobody else seems to. I'd buy those if I didn't already have one.

Dain 🇺🇸 New York Street Art • Collaged Portraits, by wimpy on Dec 1, 2007 15:07:50 GMT 1, Nice finds.
Since DAIN is said on the site to have been a graffiti artist in the 80s, I wonder if it is Bast's work that resembles his moreso than the other way 'round.

new bast, by wimpy on Nov 30, 2007 1:27:04 GMT 1, I've tried to explain this on numerous occasions to people, but I guess the easiest way to do it on this forum would be to tell you to read the foreward in his book that Banksy wrote.

Signed in crayon... , by wimpy on Nov 28, 2007 14:46:46 GMT 1, There is obviousely some merits in using a crayon as opposed to pencil as Picasso and Dali used crayon extensively but the reasons escape me, possibly some of our more learned colleagues could shed some light, Iam well aware that signing in pen as Banksy has done in the past is not a good idea, but in this instance I will feel quite happy, presuming colours are also crayon signed, to have one of the first prints where he has broken with tradition!
As I understand it, pencil and crayon are the two most easily-identifiable when (and if ever needed to be) studied by an expert for authenticity. I know that pen ink bleeds, especially into printing paper, so that is never any good. Plus, it fades over time. Wax and pencil last much longer.

US Property..., by wimpy on Nov 23, 2007 13:00:10 GMT 1, Yeah. Requiring a license really is designed to help protect consumers. I had to take classes to get it and do a few hours of continuing education every two years in order to maintain it.
Good luck!

US Property..., by wimpy on Nov 23, 2007 12:45:11 GMT 1, I am a realtor and advertise and have pages on Realtor.com and Homesandland.com.
Those are probably the two most popular and user-friendly.
I have my license in NY, PA, and NJ. Willing to take prints as commission.

WTF BAST??!?!?!?!, by wimpy on Nov 23, 2007 23:29:46 GMT 1, wimpy, I have heard some people emailing bastny.com to request a price adjustment, so you may try doing that too.
I said I WASN'T bothered by it. Bast obviously just wants to clear his inventory and work the idea of a sale into the "Bast Friday". I knew what I was paying when I got it and it changes nothing.

WTF BAST??!?!?!?!, by wimpy on Nov 23, 2007 12:46:27 GMT 1, I had a funny feeling he would release them today.
Much happier with my Und Erotik than these and not bothered at all by him "discounting" the unsold stuff a bit.

Wii Wii, by wimpy on Nov 20, 2007 11:40:00 GMT 1, I think it is something like 54 weeks now straight of it being sold out.
Your best chance is ebay, sadly.
I finally said "screw it" and copped a 360. Assassin's Creed is NASTY so far.
I will, however, cry about not having Smash Bros.
