Here is my last project, just laser cutted the plexiglas and made the vinyl layer. Next step would be to cut additional packing tape layers..Pretty happy about the intermediary result!

I'm finding it difficult keeping the paper flat on the canvas even with glue and weights.
This is 24 x 24 inches, I think the size makes it harder with the paper on canvas.
I think I'll go back to trying wood on this one too, the paper will stick and lay flat much easier with a solid base.

For my new stencil it looks like it will cost me: ยฃ15 for a canvas ยฃ18 for a can of spray adhesive ยฃ30 or so in paint ยฃ20 or so in blades ยฃ?? in printing out 20x A1 sheets of paper 60 plus hours in cutting. My wife is right on my case about it haha. I should be doing things more productive 
Weighing up cost of buying my own second hand A1 printer rather than paying ยฃ15 for each A1 acetate.
Paper isn't cheap either especially if using quality ones like somerset velvet etc. Then circa ยฃ30 per litre for each ink colour.

I had an image I wished to get screen printed and it would have cost around ยฃ1500 for 100 prints, this was with about 12 colours though.
Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to sell them and I only wanted a handful, so the price was way too high for me

Definitely more efficient having a printer at home, even sticking A4 pages together. Unfortunately I don't have one.
My wife watches the pennies I spend, so buying 12 cans of paint and spray glue etc gets me in trouble

It was at that point I was stuck whether to sign my name or a pseudonym. What are your thoughts on that? I can see why street artists might use a pseudo so they don't get arrested or chased for copyright on images but is that the only reason to have one?

I use my old tag and my son wanted to sign with a "new name" too so we came up with a tag/pseudo for him as well (even though he never tagged anything outside our home yet - at least not that i know of).

I'm still working through design ideas, and I'm thinking initially a fiver should buy you a tenner. Then after that, life's a gamble.
I'll make them available through my Big Cartel thing once I'm allowed to use the library photocopier again.
