Nice!  Bigger than I thought at first glance.

Kintsukuroi is such a great concept, that the object is more beautiful for having suffered, been broken, repaired and made better.  Good Life philosophy in there.

Have been playing around with that idea as well.  How to integrate the golden repair thoroughly into the piece, so that one part cannot be complete without the other.

Well I have cut the first 3 layers and can confirm it won't look like the mock up
I think the details are way too small for the size I have printed it out, should have made it much bigger really.

I shall still crack on and see how it turns out, it's all a learning curve for me
Playing with stencils really makes me appreciate the skill of the experts.
People like Penny really are masters at this.

I have so many questions I would like to ask the pros if I could.
Perhaps I should stick to simple stencils until I figure out what works for me

Your lines are so tight iamzero. So tight that these look printed rather than sprayed.

Doing this art stuff is expensive!

For my new stencil it looks like it will cost me:

£15 for a canvas
£18 for a can of spray adhesive
£30 or so in paint
£20 or so in blades
£?? in printing out 20x A1 sheets of paper
60 plus hours in cutting.

My wife is right on my case about it haha.
I should be doing things more productive

you could save £15 on the canvas by putting your work on the street, go and find a wall Aza that'd be cool

You could pick up some scrap wood instead of canvas. The wood grain would look great and would cut costs massively. 
The 60 + hours will be worth it though!

I work on about 30 minutes a layer and bought canvasses in cartons to make things cheaper.
