Do you have a gopro or the likes ? Would live to see a stop motion of you spraying this one !

To be honest I think this may end up a bit tricky to cut out at its current size...shall have to wait until my wife prints them out at work tomorrow.
I really need to get myself a printer, preferably that can do large sizes.

I could do a timelapse, but I generally wait an hour between coats when spraying so may be a bit boring
Perhaps a gif of the layers building up.

I was in LA when NWA was coming up...met Eazy-E at a Howard Stern event.  He was about to sign my work glove with a Sharpie when his monstrous bodyguard pushed him on. 

Good timing for this series with the SOC movie coming out soon.  Nice cut & spray skills on that Ice Cube painting.

I'm committed now! My wife came home with 20 sheets of card already printed.

Here we go. My first attempt at Layne. Colour choices are slightly off but overall, I'm pleased with it.

Using those swatches in Photoshop really helps to select the shades that you would be best pleased with. I think they work in Illustrator too.

I had a dream a while back of someone shooting a rapid-fire automatic weapon, and the bullets hitting and exploding into flowers. An idea I had worked with some years back that just popped up again.

This is a painting I made to try and remember that dream. Spray paint on canvas board...3D texture from semi-congealed spraypaint transferred onto face of canvas board and sprayed over.

I had to open them in Photoshop and convert them for use in Illustrator. One of the swatches was a little too blue, might've been the Metropolis? But they are very useful. They were almost identical to the colours I'd already settled on.

A different take on a piece I made few months ago.. 

"Kintsukuroi" (Golden Repair) - 95 x 35cm 

Multiple layer ripping and texturing on the background and an 8 layer stencil on the guy.
