Visit BRISTOL π¬π§ Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Feral Things on Oct 1, 2013 19:18:06 GMT 1, The Looking Glass artspace in Bristol have a final group before having to leave the venue later in the month. The show is entitled 'See You On The Other Side' and it features work by, amongst others, Mr Jago, Sickboy, Krilly Smalls and Emma Caton.
There's the lovely new Mr Jago on the outside:
And after a crappy day at work it made my day to see a freaking Sickboy superhero cape!
Nice little show and it's a real shame that Bristol will be losing such a great arts space.

It was originally a pub but it closed down a long time ago before being temporarily opened as an artspace with a well stocked bar. There's a nice Xenz piece on the far right, which I posted a picture of in the Bristol Street Art thread a while back, and the doors on the right are now covered in Sickboy's slogans; here's a picture of some of them:

And something from the archives. I'm a big fan of Lokey and don't think he gets nearly enough credit. He used to paint with Banksy back in the day and has been doing his thing ever since. This piece is from 2009 with FLX1 to the left and 3Dom to the right:

Visit BRISTOL π¬π§ Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Feral Things on Nov 4, 2013 18:50:43 GMT 1, I had other plans and didn't make it along on the night, but Wehangfire put on their annual 'Trick or Treat' show in Hallowe'en. There are still originals from Kid Acne available for Β£100 and from Sweet Toof for Β£150 but I liked this drawing from MΓΌdwig which I think is a bargain at only Β£150. Works available online from here.

And something from the archives. This is Feek's 'Bling, bling, me babber!' piece which was a bit of an iconic piece of Bristol graffiti. It was painted in about 2000ish and ran for a full 10 years before it got dogged but fortunately it then got replaced with the 'Ou'est le mac?' piece below that.

Β As everyone's getting excited about something new by Banksy, I thought I'd dig out something old by him. Β This was on the end of a terrace of houses until someone built another house on the end of the terrace a few years ago. Β I've no idea whether it's still preserved within the new house or if it disappeared during the building works.
Love the black and white street - Scott Buchanan Barden. Where can i see more of his work?
