id be tempted to put the sid in the middle, itl help your eye balance the colours out

Neil - as much as I like what i'm seeing in your gaff, do you just love everything white? Its a straight question, not a criticism.

I'm not a fan of white frames. I've just spent a week with 3 framing catalogues and i'm loving the darker frames. But I'm just wondering if you get to see many framing styles?

I can see your pad looks quite modern and minimal and I'm loving that, so no doubt those white frames look even better when you can see the whole house, but just wondering what other colours you have in your pad.

Liking that 'railway sleeper' bench protruding out the wall. In fact i'm just as interested in pics of the rest of your house than just the art!!

ah yes, i'd previously seen the kurt kobain dface pic. thats got to be one of the best print/frame jobs i've seen. so tempting to go for a contrast in the mount, but its black all the way. I really really like that. respect.

the rest of the place looks like a gallery! is red wine banned in your place? you'd hate having me there then.

its so interesting seeing other peoples houses. I went to a screening in a place in London recently called 1 Aldwych and was struck by the art that they had utlised in there, lovely framing on canvasses, very inspiring. I've got much more obsessed with framing recently than previously...so much choice. A frame can make or break a print and there's so much scope to add an whole extra dimension to your art. Its not something i'm taking lightly anymore and want to make each frame as individual as the prints themselves.

Got these in Hallway up the stairs....the colouring of the prints match, but the style is strinkingly different when hanging next to each other.

i can see the edge of the canvass now. loving that. you ever get bored and need to loan it out for a while, you know where i am ;D

I think i'll keep my collection to myself after seeing all that, best thing i've had recently is the free yokohoma print from red propeller, ha ha.

Cracka - I am disappointed its 11pm and you can still make out Tempus Two....Red wine is for drinking, its gone since this photo.

Organics1 - Well art has always been my passion some day when I have made my fortune and get to practice a little more myself I will down a couple of bottles of red and post some of my own work. Strangely I started collecting chairs and lights several years back but eventually I ran out of floor space and started back onto the walls. I remember Frankie when he was selling Eames on Ebay!!!

As well as art & records I have been collecting Modern design furntiture and decorative arts for many years now. Eames, Panton, Jacobsen, Whitefriars, Troika etc, etc. Built up quite a collection on my travels. Unfortunately it's all in a crate now ready to be shipped off

Weirdly enough my eye was immediately drawn to the Tempus Two and not the Matt Small canvas. Saw the winery in Oz on my travels, so it reminds me of that. Travelling is still my first love along with music....i'm still learning with the art, so i try not to be too jealous of other people's collections....i'm getting a few choice pieces of my own now, but its great seeing what other people have.
