No not harsh sorry. One of the reasons street art is percieved as a joke is because so many so called artists have jumped the bandwagon and don't actually bring anything new.

I'm mean don't get me wrong I don't like this JBoy piece, and I agree! it shouldn't really be released as a print, but to be told that by somebody selling photos of street art themselves is really funny ;D

and I always thought street art / urban / art shouldn't be so serious
if banksy would add an character to an already existing piece everybody would go nuts on it..pfff going to add a d*face superman to the banksy no future ballon....if I only could find my ps

Why should it not be released as a print?

Banksy nicks another persons dog and jboys Pinch another artists person and a dog. If you like it buy it if you don't then don't buy it. At least for forty quid you only need four pins to put in on your wall with instead of a 200 frame job.

I never pretend I'm creating something in that way. I'm a photographer. You can have a go at anyone selling a book on street art then. I document what's around me and I like.

If Banksy was to take someone else's photo of someone else's work then photoshop a character (again not his) into the image, run off a few laser prints and charge for it - I don't think everybody would be going nuts for it quite the opposite.

Photoshopping mouths onto kittens is more worthy of the title art than this.
