Banksy • Andipa Gallery, by Mrs Mouse on Mar 3, 2008 10:50:53 GMT 1, I was there on Saturday afternoon (1st March) and it was so busy it was really difficult to see anything. You couldn't really stand and look at pictures because the place was so small you had to keep walking in single file and if you stopped the people behind got held up. It was a bit like being on a conveyor belt. Most people seemed to just be happy to walk past with a quick glance. I got in everyones way trying to take pictures. ;D I managed to get down most of the prices, but I think I missed a few as it was just too crowded to get near and read the price.
Heavy Weaponry stencil and spraypaint on wall -£65,000 Riot Green - £185,000 SOLD Precision Bombing - £75,000 SOLD CCTV Camera Road Sign - £100,000 Sharks - Price on request Lock picking rat - Not for sale Roadwork rat - £100,000 SOLD Bomb Middle England - Price on request Happy Choppers - £250,000 Gangsta rat (news stand) - Not for sale Lenin on rollerblades - £125,000 Paranood pictures - £65,000 SOLD Grenade - £28,000 SOLD Riot cop - £75,000 Pooh bear - £140,000 Every time I make love to you - £160,000 Rat with drill - £100,000 Kate - Price on request The key to composition - £65,000 Gangsta rat on plywood - Not for sale Kids on guns - £100,000 Horse on steel - £125,000 Rat stencil - Not for sale Heavy Weaponry - £75,000
My daughter spotted a member of Westlife coming in just as we were leaving. (She's not sure which one it was as she's not a big fan of Westlife!) Looks like Banksy's fame has spread as far as the world of the boy band! Shame!

Banksy • Andipa Gallery, by robertlondon on Mar 3, 2008 11:36:20 GMT 1, I was in on Saturday afternoon... it was a slow moving trail of people around the inside of the gallery with an occasionally a queue outside.
There was a (about 55 yr old) couple behind us... they were enquiring about the "Paranoid Pictures" as they wanted to buy it.
