you are kidding right, silky will never ban them, because he makes money on the back the flippers, you just have to look at the long list of No Ball Game prints available on ebay to know this.

Such a shame for those who missed out to see something like this.

What people do with their own property is up to them, simple as that I fully understand you dont like it, and I agree with you! but like you, I have no say on what other people do with their own property, and rightly so.

Its true that you don't have a say about what others do with their property Silky. But its also true that you do have a say about what happens on this forum...
People like this deprive the real Banksy fans on this forum, that would hang the prints on their wall, the opportunity of getting them at cost price. Their actions are completely contrary to the interests of the members that are here for the right reasons. Sure, people can do whatever they want with their property, but it doesn't mean you/we have to condone that behavior and make them welcome here.

Paul Insect 1/1 on EBAY, by mookie on Dec 19, 2009 23:41:36 GMT 1, It's difficult to justify a ban on someone flipping when you have ebay adverts above that have been full of NBGs. The guy in this thread selling two nbg's is just plain greedy and people like this do ruin this place... although I don't think he was actually advertising these here he just got exposed from his other sale.

Pardon my ignorance as i am a new member... but are you saying people that sell prints they have bought should not be allowed on this forum?... or that people should not be allowed on this forum if they sell prints they have bought within a certain time limit from the date of purchase (in which case what is the time limit you suggest?)
What I can't understand is that i find for example the ebay listings very useful on this forum... I think it is a great service... but the NBGs listed on this forum are being listed by the people that you seem to loathe and want to be banned.
So it seems to be a bit contradictory to be a member of a forum that is at least partially funded by the "flippers" you hate.
I think people should be able to buy and sell whatever they want whenever they want. The adverts by the so called flippers on ebay I think are very a very useful feature of this forum, This forum has a buying and selling feature which i think is great.
If you for example banned people who sold prints (within the time limit I have invited you to define) then you should also remove all ebay listings that fall within that time limit. Which would seem a ridiculously draconian move to me.
The ebay adverts that feature loads of "flipping"(not my term) are really useful for buyers and i don't think they should be removed. Nor do I think people should be banned from selling prints.
I guess my problem Is I just genuinely don't understand the argument. I would like to know what the time limit is though before you can sell a print after buying it... preferably in days and months.
We live in a market economy if you can buy something on monday and sell it for four times the price on tuesday I take my hat off to you... congratulations... Maybe moving to a regulated more communist type economy would suit some people... where it is nearly impossible to make a profit. Rather you than me.
Keep the ebay adverts, keep the members, and learn to live in the real world is my advice. There is enough bad things going on in the world without worrying who is selling prints...

Paul Insect 1/1 on EBAY, by twinkle on Dec 20, 2009 0:31:18 GMT 1, Cheers Monkeyart too! The flipping thing is dead boring I know, frustrating for many but art has always had an active secondary market. Having queued last weekend and pleased to have my own NBG, anyone who did sleep rough in the bitter cold can do what they like with their print, mine will hang on my wall for many years to come.
Merry Xmas
