Was so tempted to take a half day off and its a 5 mins bus journey away too but didn't fancy the queue, especially as the London TMA was a walk in and had an hour to think about it before I purchased one! How times have changed eh! Love the print though and wished I could have got one but too busy at work, and the kids need food and less prints!! Were you tempted?

i reckon that the art fair people said "we dont want a load of people trying to get this print and rushing around, sort it out" so they just went outside and did it that way...either way, i think the will have pissed a lot of people off

H i agree i think they thought it was a good idea at the time but then the organisers prob made them do this to avoid it getting messy

oh well, im still excited about meeting a few people, artists, art fans and people in art ;D

i think its still worth going down for anyone with a ticket, im sure it will be a good night anyway...after all, BRP just saved you 450 pounds

I got lucky for once and bought it from the Carmichael show just before the Bonhams auction when it all went crazy. I almost bought the wrong piece because I had a Carmichael pricelist and a set of pictures posted by influence (thank you wherever you are influence) and marrying them up was hard. Sadly I haven't been offered anything in the current print run but if they do I will keep you in mind.

I went today early to check it out but the queue put me off and I probably didn't like it that much.
A bit of a shame about that misinformation from BRP side but I suspect they didn't know what to expect.
Anyway I manage to get inside and check the exhibition whilst it was almost empty.
Some really nice art however majority was an average (in my eyes )
Usual suspects everywhere although was a bit surprised by the last year pricing.
If you have a chance go and check it out for yourself (daytime if possible).

To those who queued from 10 o'clock - well done you totally deserve it and I hope you will enjoy it for the years to come
