I don't want to post this info in a public forum for legal reason but as stated above if anyone needs help with this for reasons of being conned out of art I would be more than happy to help out... (Public Records and a little PI work are great, aren't they)

One address he has used is owned by a company, (i.e. trust)... now there are many legal complications that can fall into play for the owner of this business as well if (stolen/Mail Fraud) goods are being sent to their business... So, you may want to contact them as well because they are also now involved and the authorities will want to talk to them as well... It's also a federal offense now being that items were sent in from anywhere other than California... Also, one of the addresses he has used is actually a property (home) he owns...

If Haisurf is reading this I would be more than happy to meet up with you with the proper authorities to clear up the matter and take possession of said object(s) and get them back to the rightful owners...

It does sound as if most caught on to his scam but there may be a few more out there...

Another fine example of why I think there should be a reference thread on these boards...

I know whenever I do a deal I tell people they are free to post a thread and ask about me and any deals I've made with other members if they have any concerns... References are key in this day and age...

Let us not forget Mail Fraud, which is also a federal offense here in the States and carries some serious penalties, one which includes Jail time... Please don't take people like this lightly and fill out forms such as this and file compliants... Take Action!!!

Here's a link for a form you can file with the US Postal Service if you have been a victim of mail fruad... You can file a claim from anywhere in the world with this form so don't be afraid to use it...

Just read through the various snippets of correspondence in the posts above and I have the distinct impression he's not English or American. Just read all this thread and wow can't believe it all really. I think the above statement should reveal all especially the reference to the shark, sharksurf, then that would be his name and we all know what sharks do in the water...look for prey mmm interesting, and he can't be a yank because for sure 100% they would use the word cell and not mobile when referring to a phone.

If havana07 has been caught out then there is going to be a ton more to crawl out the woodwork, because he is a shrewd cookie, so if he got him, who knows where it will end.

I usually talk a deal through with fellow forum members/art friends and if the deal sounds too good to be true then it usually is, best to sit back and take stock before making rash decisions.

Hope you all get lucky and catch up with this person.

He now goes under the name Pat, and uses [e-mail] as email.

He´s also giving it a shot at the giant forum.
