Looks like the tree has been pollarded and there are some spindly twigs that should sprout leaves shortly and then there should be some shoots from the thicker branches after a while. Just curious as to how this will look when leaves obscure all or part of the green washing? Eventually I guess you’ll just see the spraying figure in the summer (that is until someone attempts to remove the whole wall) 🙄

The consent defence in UK law was removed by the Tory Government a few hours after Banksy painted it. By adding perspex and a council fence, despite how shit it looks, is in effect adding to taking the piss out of this new Tory law. It appears that this piece of 'criminal damage' is very welcome by the owners of the building, Islington Council, local residents and thousands of visitors. link
