Got to admit. This was one release I was desperate to put in the wall, one of the last remaining artists I had a saved wall space for… didn’t get one of initial release so all the folks using it to make a buck at expense of people that really wanted one… frustrating! Oh well such is capitalism!

Yes, I noticed this as well yesterday when I went to have a look at the pieces on offer at the next Tateward auction, they make no reference to this in the condition report on their website, in fact, they say;

"Condition Report

In very good condition
No knocks, chips or cracks to the panel
Framed to a high standard by the Publisher, float mounted leaving all edges and corners of the sheet visible
This work has not been examined outside of the frame."

It just goes to show, you really need to go and have a look at pre-auction viewings if at all possible, as they only use 'stock' images in their online catalogue.

Heni comes across as a bit of a factory. There were problems with screwed up currency prints too. Maybe they should take some lessons from Avant Arte!

Great to see heni going above and beyond to rectify the situation. A lot is said with regards their output and business model, but they exceeded expectations here.

I certainly don’t think Heni went “above and beyond” or “exceeded expectations”.

They completely screwed up and this was an embarrassment for the quality of their framing so had to sort it out otherwise one of their prints would suffer in auction (especially as the first to be flipped).

The owner/flipper should have pulled it from the auction as soon as it was spotted as I’m sure their final sale price will now be affected.

Let’s see if Heni go around a collectors houses in person if one slips again as chances are this won’t happen just the once.

I'm not surprised at all, what is surprising is putting in a lower tier auction house in June, in a shite market 10 mins after taking delivery. May was well have taken it to a car boot sale.

I said the seller should have pulled it due to the bodged framing as it put off potential buyers. They’ve now lost money on this with sellers fees.
