[The Jaunt]

Hey guys.

Thought I would introduce our project called The Jaunt here properly.

With our project we send artists on trips all over the world in order to become inspired. Once the artists has returned from their trip they create an artwork, and we make a limited edition screen print out of the artworks. We've been doing this for over 4 years now, and have made a total of 32 trips so far. We've worked with artists like Cody Hudson, Tim Biskup, Cleon Peterson, Jean Jullien, Niels Shoe Meulman, and others.

Whenever we announce a new trip, we open a pre-order and people can buy the print at sight unseen for only 60€. If you missed out on the pre-order, and the pre-order hasn't sold out yet, you can still purchase the prints from our Print Archive.

This print isn't released yet, but figured I would give you guys first chance. These are going live next week Tuesday. But PM me if you're interested. Only 9 left at the moment.

The print is the result of Collin van der Sluijs' Jaunt Alumni trip to Lastovo, Croatia. Where he spend four days on a small island, exploring and meeting the locals. Then two more days in Split, Croatia. This is the second trip that Collin made for The Jaunt, his first trip was back in 2014 to Porto, Portugal.

We just announced our latest trip. Our 35th trip in total.
This time we are working together with the NYC based artist Kristin Texeira (www.kristintexeira.com). From 21 to 26 June, she will be travelling to Newfoundland, Canada. After her trip, she will create a print inspired by her newfound inspiration.

We just announced our latest trip, this time with the Dutch artist Merijn Hos (www.merijnhos.com & www.woodsculptures.eu). This is a Jaunt Forma trip, meaning that the trip will result in a series of 35 wood sculptures, rather than a screen print edition.

The trip is taking place from 15 to 20 September, and going to Sante Fe, New Mexico, to become inspired by the massive Folk Art collection in the Folk Art museum there.

We are proud to introduce Andrea Wan as the first artist for our Jaunt Magna format.

Andrea is travelling to Nepal, where she will be taking a travelling residency for one month. For the first part of her trip she will be meditating at the Kopan monastery, and for the second part of her trip she will be hiking through the Himalayas. Searching for space, peace and inspiration.

In March 2018 we will be presenting a solo exhibition with a new body of work, alongside a publication and of course a screenprint.

It's high unless it's courier, next day, flat shipped.

If it's in a tube and regular mail then that is a high price.

We ship from the Netherlands, and there really is no way to send out a tube any cheaper outside of Europe. But again, if you can find us a shipping carrier who can we would love to know and use that carrier.

If you are stuck at the price of shipping so be it. No hard feelings.

Hey all,

A little heads up, about the release of two Hense prints that we are releasing publicly in a few hours.





The first edition, has been printed by Hense himself, with the help of Apollo Print Dublin and James Earley, during his visit to Dublin. We've made a short video capturing the creative process of this print. Which you can see below. Currently only two prints left.
