Trip plans coming together...any tips on best places to base a few days in the lake district. My eldest has been dreaming of Ambelside since she was in first grade so lean that way. The wife was finding some great spots in Windermere.

Tentative plans is a few days in Edinburgh a week or so bouncing around Scotland and working our way to the lakes area then a week in London area. Any other secrets for a first time visit to the UK?

Another incredible opening evening at the 'D'Stassi' gallery last night for 'Didier Chamizo'  a character as colourful as his work who has an amazing story to tell, whether you love them or hate them, there is no avoiding them, his paintings are truly an assault on the senses!

D’Stassi Art Presents Malik Roberts' UK solo debut. The exhibition opens September 13th, 2024 with a collection of works made exclusively for the gallery.

Robert’s work draws on the imagery from art history and pop culture in prismatic hues of red and blue layered upon black canvas. His style is reminiscent of Baroque artist, Caravaggio,and has been making waves in the New York Scene for several years. His work has been picked up by the likes of Adrien Brody and Slick Woods, and is even in the permanent collection of the Vatican.

D’Stassi Art is hounored to bring Malik’s work to London for the first time this autumn, to share with friends and collectors alike.
