Interesting they show finished prints on their social media but they expect people to wait at least four months.
If they have the screens, proofs and special paper there’s no excuse not to get these out sooner.

But doesn't that apply for the majority of art released which ends up using little or no secondary market? I have always, therefore, tended to view purchasing art as a very poor investment decision as I think you need a particular 'commercial eye' and a deep immersion in the art world to pick out the works with significant upside potential and mitigate downside risk. It's far easier to make money through other investment imo. 

Admittedly, I only buy art I like and don't expect to get my money back so please feel free to disavow me if this isn't the case! (Also aware there's a ton of flippers here so I'm probably a minority view).

I was expecting lower, maybe 600 (and also expecting to kick myself for not buying one).
So, part of me is pleased I didn't buy one. But I do like the image still.

I bought one - not based on what size the edition was or wasn’t going to be, but purely because I really like the image. It is very much classic Grayson, at his best - and the printing process this time does it credit - the heavy inks look lush in the images.

I’ll be framing it up and sticking it on my wall. Tbh for circa £900 delivered to the UK you’ll be hard pressed to find anything similar Grayson orientated for same sort of money. Yes it’s not limited to 68 etc but for less than a grand never was going to be - you’d be naive to think it was just going to be an edition of a couple of 100 based on his blue chip profile. I for one am more than happy with my purchase - roll on February 😬

I love the print but I have to be honest when I am spending upwards of £1000 I like to know the edition size before making the purchase.
