I hate paper! And I hate all the excessive costs of framing works conservatively.
I don't buy anything for this reason.
Better a limited edition of 400 Grayson Perry tea towel than a $25,000 paper work by Damien Hirst!

I have a Hirst signed poster that Iβll frame and Iβll also frame one of these tea towels. I think itβs nice to have different textures on the wall but totally get why someone wouldnβt want a tea towel on their wall! It will admittedly be my first framed tea towel, but also my first limited edition Grayson Perry. Im gonna call it a win even if it might be a little strange to have a tea towel on the wall!

You have region, Hirst's latest prints number in the thousands. Invader did 150 on paper 20x30. This one by Grayson Perry is a digital print on fabric, in an edition of 400 pieces and is a fairly large size 48x76.

Does the price increase if it's out of stock? However, it is a beautiful print on fabric. It harks back to the 1987 original by Grayson Perry himself but in this case as a multiple on fabric.

If Grayson Perry or other artists said print his limited edition fabric, those pieces would be snapped up in an instant. Saying tea towel, in my opinion, makes it superfluous to snobbish collecting.
If I had some linen tea towels on the wall, in edition of 400 by Andy Warhol, Basquiat, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, Jasper Johns, Yayoi Kusama and others, I would be a very happy and grateful person to own them and admire them on the wall.
Of course I would be happy and grateful but also very lucky if I also owned the original works. But this is another matter.

The first one is not a nice print and it's not even a limited edition. The second is not in linen but in fabric, but it is still a beautiful print. Maybe it's too big for my walls but it's a print. It takes me back in time and reminds me of some eastern wall. I think the Japanese double sun is beautiful. It's not limited but I'll think about it.
