I can't imagine a single person whose purchase decision would have changed based on that increase. If this were a significant change in the number of prints, I guess I'd understand but an increase from 175 - 200 just doesn't seem like a big deal at all.

Their initial response was pretty douchey and increasing the edition size of a print after the sale is pretty douchey. Why increase the edition when they could have just added 25 APs? |

Personally I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the print.
Looks much better in person than online.
But this is a different story and doesn’t justify the gallery’s lack of common sense and respect for patrons.

I can only imagine how many prints from his latest Avant edition of 800 will hit the secondary market in a couple weeks, let alone a couple years… You can't really compare these releases, or any of his other releases with the "epic Fight" print. Epic Fight was a huge botched release with a link being posted early and it selling out before it went on sale. Many were only purchased because of this to flip. Very few of his other releases come up for sale. The most recent release was 100% draw. |
