What do you guys think of him? It seems like he has some hype going, but is not often discussed in here.

You shouldn't worry about whether people are buying or not. It's none of your business.
You should be asking yourself if you like the piece and if so, why? Then make up your own mind if you want to pull the trigger.

Yes, there are a few members on here who follow this artist.

He seems to be growing in popularity (he already has quite a following) and I think this print will sell out in minutes.

Not one that I will be going for but good luck if you are trying for one.

To be completely honest: I really didn't look after a "flip-discussion". More a talk about the artist and the print, i am in a way fascinated by this guy. I feel like there is a mysterious vibe about him. Not talked much about in here, but have over 81k followers and seem to slowly getting more and more popular. And i really can't describe his style, it is so .. weird, but still kinda intriguing - and some of it pretty creepy.

I love the style of his mysterious (and sometimes unsettling) figures and would've gone for this one if the rabbit was missing and my art budget was a bit healthier.

Roby is a fantastic artist. I have the feeling that most artist copy a little from others. But understand if you only go for artist that are 100% creating their own exclusive work without any reference to other artists.

also Robys work can be rough. here and there a bloody head or so. but there are also quite a few works where it is only a fantasy family in a normal setting. so should be something for everybody, also for you mr vincent 😜

I do agree he is an original artist. And very skilled.

why would i say such thing? as a matter of fact i do not believe there is any artist who 100% creates their „own“ work. imho could only be done if that artist has no influence whatsoever. maybe a robinson crusoe living on an island?
i was purely referencing to that comment where above somebody commented that roby uses nara as an influence...😜

If you read the op post he was asking the right questions about the art. Then he revealed his cards by asking if people will go for it. Smells like a speculator to me.

Personally I love his style. Definitely derivative of Nara but I love that Roby's work is more surreal and experimental. Certain pieces he incorporates a galaxy-like twinkle in the eyes of his characters and I think it's amazing. I've been tracking this release for a while and hope that I get chosen for the lottery, but definitely not keeping my hopes up. Rest assured flippers will have their way with this one (should Moosey not bind the purchasers to an agreement limiting resell options).

Although not something initially I can 'appreciate', intrigued to know a bit more about this fella.
