I wonder what a straight one would be worth then?

Auctions 2019 & 2020 show this hammering between 3 and 4k£ consistently, with 1 higher results.
Seems like this was fair price rather than a bargain ?

TateWard • Art Auctions 🇬🇧, by tonys on Oct 14, 2020 21:17:55 GMT 1, It has to said, some auctions have more caché than others. This was mostly tat with a few quality prints thrown in to attract a few buyers. I don’t think Sotheby’s will be marketing postcards and freebie posters somehow. I suspect sellers are drawn to the lower fees, but buyers spending big will side step in most cases.

Sothebys will sell any old shit as long as it sells for a certain amount of money so they can make their commission
They all will

Free money for the lucky ones that bought to sell, maybe I was just expecting more interest as charity pieces normally go beyond their estimates.

I may have misunderstood, but from what was said during the auction it sounded like it was the fees being donated, rather than all the proceeds, i.e. the auction house was making no profit.
