There were a few sold at auctions in the past days and hammered between 9,000 and 22,000 Euro ( A1, A2, B2 and B3 )
condition is key with those - the paper is fragile and most of them show their age.

This is how he did all his recent editions (Engadin, Manöver).

They are numbered, dated and signed. 



EDIT: they removed numbered, dated and signed in the description so I guess this is not the case.

Would if i could, but acid free mount-board would be going straight over that title ... turns it more into a poster than a work of art imo.

If its really unsigned, unnumbered inkjet print then this would be pretty much an 8k$ poster? Feels a bit odd to have such a small edition without a signature

Sometimes, we need one thing to realize something is wrong. Or that’s in contradiction to its own alignement. To me, it was the release of the signed books by Gerhard Richter and this print. It was a turning point. It disgusted me. I really felt that it was just about big MONEY. And that’s about it. I think I will forget these big names in giant galleries. Congrats to them if they manage to put interesting things (not discussing the market and the money) in such an environment. I find the whole thing disgusting. But if this is true and it’s unsigned

I’m just amused. I stay. It would be so funny.
(funny, but big hug to the many artists putting their heart and everything in what they do, who have trouble to make a living and have to see this bullshit)

I feel the market is due for a big correction. Not only in prices.

IMO this is not a good example of his oeuvre.

I considered the diptych when offered it a while back and decided it was overpriced based on the actual piece itself

Had it been a better example I would have certainly purchased

the title as part of the work is consistent with other Richter's of this style and dont concern me but the images are poor

Sales are slow at Zwirners for this reason

They are signed and number from what I have been advised, and the prices include framing

none the less the views above still stand

Has anyone received confirmation re: being signed and dated? Another data point, I was initially advised that it was signed, numbered, and dated as well but it seems a bit odd it’s not on the website.

No signature at all feels like a bit of a deal breaker.

Richter could wipe his ass on some paper scan it, print a 100 copies on his HP printer and if they're signed and numbered he could sell for £10k a piece. I quite like these, they're obviously pretty subtle and muted but will suit certain rooms and themes well. For me it's about the pair really, I think they'll work well as a diptych.

That's what they are saying in email - i got one on hold though, and others do the same. So some might become available again, if people don't take the offer.

My neighbors from the house next door inquired about a print but received a reply asking if they would like to be added to the waiting list, as all prints are currently reserved. As far as I know, invoices have not been sent out yet.
