Sure people have done well on the high value bits mainly because his market has shot up but for prints you can shop around and get much better deals privately or through regional auction houses.

People with the rare and high value items will still go to the big 3 auction houses. Also the format Bbay will run will mean you may need to wait a while to sell your print through them. It's a boot fair, held every sunday at 8 am at various TBC locations around the country. Its set up around the old acid house scene, you get a number......
the prize for the first 100 people every sunday to limited edition smiley face, the colourways change every week, and a TDK cassette with good music and some clues to the next location

Agreed a live auction at a posh auction house will flush out higher Calibre buyers. I expect BBay will be useful for a lot of people selling and buying prints though |

My guess would be a flattening our or a small correction that could lay path to sustainable future growth in value.
