Always great to get music based books recommended on the fab Book Thread, may I recommend Tracey Thorne, 'Bedsit Disco Queen', great book that.

For those of you who have visited Glasgow you may have spotted Big Heids painted across the city. The artist in question is a lovely guy called Panda. He has just finished his art degree and his dissertation was entitled The Gift, Graffiti and Punitive Masculinity. Its a good piece of work and I managed to snag a copy before they sold out. The printed copy is his dissertation one half whilst the other half is a history of him, his art and his battle with addiction.

kfroms, if you are a bit into true crime and like reading about (the hunt for) serial killers I would recommend ‘Long Haul: Hunting the Highway Serial Killers’ by Frank Figliuzzi.

Kfroms, firstly have a fab holiday. Its art but theatre related. Dame Judy Dench 'The man who paid the rent'. Great read about her life with Skakespeare. I really enjoyed it.

I bought from le Grand Jeu this awesome book about the phenomenon Pussy riot ( title on the front embossed, la classe ! )
For all the fans - as I - of the pussy Riots (dangerous) adventures… Where you learn also that Nadya, one of the leader, is still saying that she is a Pussy Riot, despite the fact that she works and sings for herself, and is not a lot revolutionary.
Book about the exhibition in Montreal and Berlin ! Only photos and fantastic ones ! ( sold out at legrandjeu , for French and Europeans )

Giant Robot as been a great art gallery and trampoline for many artists in the LA area and not only! A book that I totally recommend + looks like there will be many co-signatures! Great occasion not to be missed.

Now then, this may well show as sold out, I had this issue when I received the initial notification, I'm not the fastest on things like this.

John - there’s a free newspaper available at the gallery that has a set of large posters (on newsprint) with PK’s most famous images - sadly not signed but he is selling vintage prints on his website that he himself printed during his research for the show (£75 with a copy of his Visual Dissent book) on his website. I’ve got a spare newspaper from the show if you’re in need. Cheers
