Numbers were announced - maybe on Instagram? There were only about 230 full sets.

From thousands of generative outputs, Matt DesLauriers chose Sierra to be turned into print. Like a mountain reaching out from the landscape below, his code had arranged colours to cast an ‘alpenglow’.

The RGB colours of DesLauriers’ algorithm, where translated into CMYK for silkscreen printing. Creating 15 layers, of which two fluorescent, to give the truest impression of the work from screen to print.

Each print is comes with four NFTs. Each one corresponds to the bitmap of a CMYK layer in Sierra. Prints are signed and numbered, with free world wide shipping.

I get the impression that this is a print that would like 100x better in real life than in photos. I find it strange that there's no product video on the AA website, just a really brief glimpse at 5min into the artist video on the site ...

Positives: Print run of just 50. Comes already framed.

Negatives: Expensive. The framing looks a bit 'cheap' to me.

I imagine there’s no gun powder. I remember Hayden Kay’s had an exhibition at jealous a few years back and one of his pieces had gun powder in it and he told me it basically had to stay in the UK

No real powder on this one but I am going for it. I think in person it's stunning and a great one at my wall. The price is relative high but I prefer this above one of those timed editions which flood the market.

Looking at the video of the medium used and the precess taken, this edition should be stunning by looking at it life.
