Bit confused. Have the winners bought a normal looking mat incorporating life vests as shown in the video or have they bought a welcome mat as shown in the window of GDP?

They have bought a welcome mat as shown in the window of GDP. They were available for purchase straight away so they were not part of the process for the other items in the store.

Not sure if this was asked before, but is there anyone here who scored a welcome mat and was additonally selected as a lucky winner for one of the gdp raffle items?

Besides this are the cans and mugs already raffled?

I would have thought there were 500 or 1,000 cans available.
I've seen more print winners then can or t-shirt winners.

I wanted to thank you again for your pre-order of the Banksy x Love Welcomes welcome mat and give you an update on the process so far.

With your support we have been able to recruit 10 more women in the refugee camp to work with us at Love Welcomes and produce the mats. We are currently undergoing training with them.

Each of these women has been forced to leave their home because of war, often making precarious journeys with their own young children in search of safety and a brighter future.

Whilst we do not have the power to stop the war, we are now delighted to provide them with a glimmer of hope for the future through the dignity of providing work for them.

It may feel like a small step when we provide work for women who are on this frightening journey, but it is a very big deal for every single one of them who fled their homes and communities with nothing but a few bags.

One of our recruits said: “I was so depressed, traumatised and sad looking always, full of negative thoughts and then I was introduced to Love Welcomes where I started work. I met women from different continents and countries, speaking different languages, with different cultures, characters and different ways of reasoning, it has changed everything for me. For the hours when I am at work, I can forget everything else. Thank you".

Was there ever an estimate given on when the first batch would ship? Was thinking about giving this as a holiday gift and curious whether I'd have it in time.

Am I right that the monies raised by the mat are totally separate to the money that GDP the shop was looking to raise to replace the boat so that there are actually two sources here for the money raised?

Based on the email we got a couple weeks back they were undergoing training with the 10 new hires so they've now got about 20 people working with them.

I mean, best case scenario maybe they can do one a day each, maybe. Assuming 4 days a week we're probably looking at January.
