This would be great. Otherwise I was thinking if the life vest straps might be strong enough to hold the mat and maybe could be used to fix the mat with transparent strings or something similar.

The mats seem to be following the GDP store in a lot of ways. Went live at the same time, nothing on GDP has shipped yet... I imagine the next LW email for the second batch will be simultaneous to the store re-stocking some things in the coming week/s

Oh that said, I scored this vintage 1980s anti-graffiti tee today that reminded me a bit of the $60 spray art stand in Central Park. Looks like Banksy didn't get the memo.

Charity shop. I can't even find another example of this shirt online. There is an amazing article about the conservancy on pages 32-42 in this issue of NY Magazine. It mentions that Banker's Trust (who has their logo on the back of the shirt) gave $65K to graffiti removal.

Ha, there's a bit of that too but the algae on the lake or how bald the fields and the graffiti have obviously changed.

NY was so financially screwed that apparently the city didn't have a ton of money to maintain the parks. In the late 80s the City basically gave Grant's Tomb to the Federal Parks Service because it couldn't maintain the upkeep.

Ah, that would make me so sad but that is probably what would happen. I actually feel like scheduling a meeting with the Conservancy and pitching them a rerelease of the design and try to partner with someone like Supreme to raise funds for the park.

I would not take the risk. Can you not get them to hold the order and send to your new address in New Zealand. Would save you money on the shipping and the worry and hassle

Not a mat owner but can I suggest in a cheekie Perspex coffee table type of thing. It’ll be regularly viewed and so a point of conversation and safe from grubby mits and dirty soles! And potentially cheaper than figuring out how to hang on a wall without using Bostack or nails.
