Heritage Auctions πΊπ², by Harveyn on Jun 7, 2019 22:16:25 GMT 1, That RC is the dogs bollox! I was just thinking that.
Even with the huge amount of skinning over virtually the whole of the left upper quarter which is complete paper loss in areas its still as sweet as hell.
I imagine to have that level of paper loss it could not be poor hinge removal but the result of a badly reversed spray mount. Again IMO still a fabulous work irrespective of this potential reversal.
The question I have is did he do hand sprayed version with no numbering? I know mine was from the first and original edition but maybe he did some that were not numbered?

Has PC. Signed or not signed on these hand sprayed pieces means less IMO. Just wondered if they were unnumbered but apparently there are ones that were not numbered.

I saw the price chart so just making sure I don't have to set something up independently on my end. They do, also if you scroll down on the auction page below all the other similar items to the auction information part there is a link that says calculate shipping cost and it will tell you what it will be for each item. I wish more auction houses did this.

In some cases the prices are fairly far off for the same item. I'd say its the hidden reserve. Heritage always put up higher start prices on artsy. Remember the start price in some auctions might not be the reserve price. They like to get people bidding before it hits the reserve. If the reserve price is not met on the day of the live auction the house will bid up just shy of the reserve hoping someone will take the reserve price.
