Heritage Auctions πΊπ², by Happy Shopper on Aug 31, 2018 11:02:11 GMT 1, What are people's thoughts on the Kaws companion pieces they quite often sell? All legit? Normally some decent deals.. and some mental prices paid. I always found Heritage Auctions good to deal with. They are on the go a long time. I don't collect Kaws pieces so i would have no idea about them. I remember a few weeks back a user here had a problem about one of their Kaws lots and the guy from Heritage came on here to answer his questions. I think the out come was the Heritage guy withdrew the lot. Fake Kaws Skateboard, if I remember right. That "Banksy" tea towel is a fake too, if I'm not mistaken. The idea was you had to print them yourself.

I've dealt with them a little & bought some original comic book art and animation drawings. Shipping was quite expensive but extremely well packaged.
There are so many Kaws fakes I'm reluctant to buy from anywhere without proper provenance. Its good to here that they've previously sorted out issues though! Gives buyers confidence.

Suppose when you word it that way....
Thought it was a one off? Yes granted they shouldn't be selling any fakes whatsoever. Probably not any 100% reliable auctions houses to spot Kaws Figure fakes.

If your ever looking for football drawings i have a large collection of Italia90 World Cup Football "original" drawings (not copies) from 1990. The shipping price would be whatever i pay. Anyone looking for any can P.M me Lets say 10 euro each or cheaper if you buy a bulk load. Some samples .......

Heritage Auctions πΊπ², by dwight on Nov 30, 2018 0:47:56 GMT 1, I'm surprised to see this stuff in a live auction...the majority of lots are such low value items, they would probably get better prices on eBay. Is this an internet only auction?

Heritage Auctions πΊπ², by Riotcops on Mar 13, 2019 22:31:39 GMT 1, I considered listing an item with them and was told they put super low estimates to encourage bidding. Problem is they can't set a reserve higher than the low estimate so I declined. Even though its "highly unlikely" - I would potentially be selling a piece for less than cost.

I really wanted the butterfly one but I wasn't looking to pay over 2500... The condition is pretty bad on it
