Haha! She literally paints things that enter her consciousness or have influenced her past and present. I know what you mean about the cartoons, but the same could be said of many Artists. For instance Joyce Pensato who I'm a huge fan of.

These are massive and extremely bright (if not fluorescent). Not convinced they’d work on the oak-panelled walls of a Tudor mansion but great examples of her work. Best yet IMO.

Why do artists make stuff so big? If they were half that size they would still take up too much room on my walls.

Yeah I feel the same. Pink panther is definitely my favourite followed closely by Garfield.

Large paintings are quite expensive but the smaller works on paper are quite reasonable. If you like her work it's definitely worth contacting her galleries to see what it available. It's unlikely you'll find a pink panther or garfield available as they're the most popular pieces.

Karma bookstore have two limited edition books, one with screen printed swatch cover for $500, the other with the coved hand dyed for $250. Both signed, edition of 100. Should save you some cash and wall space

Ah! yeah she's definitely not to everyones taste. She's been painting for along time. I like the way she uses pop culture in Art very much like Warhol.

I like it but don't love it. I can't imagine spending $4k+ on one of these pieces, as there are 4k other pieces I'd rather spend that money on. It's fun, relatively simplistic, my friends would question my sanity if they knew I paid $4k on it, but it's charmingly sloppy and not nearly as dark as most of the art I like.

At least KAWS adapts cartoon characters in some small way.  Bernhardt doesn't even do that.
