Now had I known the prices GWRB go for these days, I may have reconsidered - but still would likely not hang it up for taste reasons.
And I have a feeling this won't be his most famous / popular work in the future... I mean it would almost be an insult to the artist if that piece became his most famous after his death....

Definitely towards the lower end of my Liked Banksy images. I don't think the print is particularly impressive but it looked great in situ on Upper Street in Islington which really raises the question about the efficacy of transferring street art to a paper form. |

Stops me in my tracks on certain days and makes me smile. You can't do dirty, brawny work all the time and adds a nice balance to the oeuvre. Like having julia and helter skelter on the same album not that a few dozen die-hard opinions matter much anymore.

That's going to be tough from my vantage point due to shredding. There isn't anything remotely close at this point in time and I, for one, don't see that gap narrowing but I've been wrong more times than i can count. Nice to read various opinions just the same. Edit- perhaps that chucker triptych in the years to come might narrow the gap but i can't envision much else that's already out there. It's been 15+ years now that it's appealed to a wider audience than most.
