Newly available, 46 x 66 inches, hand-knotted silk rug by Jonas Wood at Bravinlee.com. Edition of 30 with 3 APs with COA signed by Jonas Wood.

Given the current high demand for all things Jonas and the small edition size (and the fact that the rug is 4 foot by 5 foot 6 and looks amazing), I would image these will be snapped up fairly quickly.

Has anyone seen the wallpaper?
Is it a digital print on thin paper, or nicely screen printed like posh wallpaper??

I eventually got a reply from the gallery (only about this mind you, and not the other things I asked about), and was on the verge of ordering, when I suddenly had the horrifying thought I was probably paying $900 for a big digital print on shitty paper!!

Anyone know? I doubt the gallery will reply with any speed!!

This is what they said about the signed poster in the end. Apparently it was the artist’s wish that they were all sold on the night.

“Apologies for my miscommunication. Unfortunately the signed poster is unavailable. They sold out the night of the exhibition opening, as the artist intended. We had to honor this request. The unsigned poster is available for purchase through the web shop by clicking the following link.

I spoke with the gallery... yes it was challenging as everyone has mentioned. The wallpaper is “wallpaper” but printed on a specialty paper selected by Jonas. It is made to order and each sheet a large is 3’x5’ section. They said the paper is very nice and folks are framing or buying multiples to use as wallpaper. I’d imagine at some point the music stops on production in the future but it is an open edition at present.

It was sitting at retail for a decent amount of time not to long ago. $1500 seems very steep for that image. I'd say wait for his market to cool off a bit but could be a while until that happens.

It seems reckless to spend that amount on an unsigned scarf, especially with such a subpar image. The only people who purchased the scarf previously were probably just speculators waiting to flip it eventually. The genuine fans probably passed on it at $500
