Visit TORONTO π¨π¦ Canada Street Art, Galleries, Events, by fonebone45 on Jul 27, 2018 23:27:46 GMT 1, cha-ching! I travelled there to see the exhibition. Some of the prints are in not that great shape! Missing quite a few prints in the exhibit. for example no donut prints, don't think I saw Choose Your Weapon etc... It was an OK exhibit but nothing special. Too many people lined up. Did you make it out to #Hashtag Gallery for the Okuda show while you were in town?

Considering it was 2010 and he was not so well know in North America, especially Canada

My goal with #Hashtag is to bring those artists here. Okuda was just the start. I've been going down for Art Week in Miami the past 4 years and meeting artists to build up relationships on an international level. I've been chatting with Alex Yanes down in Miami about doing a show up here, and he's down, we just need to figure out dates/shipping.
Working with some connections to bigger names as well, but that's in early stages still.

and a few on the side of buildings.
Any famous/recognizable street artist works to see?

Visit TORONTO π¨π¦ Canada Street Art, Galleries, Events, by bentheartfan on Sept 16, 2018 0:39:53 GMT 1, It is a laneway, one we love strolling down, in a cool part of Toronto, although rapidly gentrifying. Artists are always changing. Some 'high profile' artists have pieces nearby including Shep Fairey (couple of minutes away). A Toronto artist we like, Mathew Del Degan has many of his 'Lovebot' pieces up in the neighborhood.

Looks like they are painted on laneway garage doors? and a few on the side of buildings. Any famous/recognizable street artist works to see? There's also a giant Phelgm piece, but fairly far northeast (about 30 min transit)
Also a massively long FAILE piece, but I don't have photos of that yet.

I know street art is meant to evolve but please this tag is just selfish and thoughtless. That was just a portion of it. There's about 30 tags on it at this point. To be honest though, not a lot of people know her work, and it's not "of something". The kids that tag these big pieces generally give the good ones by more well known artists more respect.

Visit TORONTO π¨π¦ Canada Street Art, Galleries, Events, by fonebone45 on Nov 12, 2018 8:55:09 GMT 1, Nice shots - lovely birdos ! Any other Ontario based members here ? Any nice local prints or canvases available from Toronto artists ? I have a few up on our walls and always looking for more. Here are a few links REKA reckanize.bigcartel.com/Kwest kwest.bigcartel.com/productswww.skam.net/ I'd really like a Daser canvas but it is next to impossible to get one. As far as Toronto graffiti is concerned he and REN are the ones to get imho. Just saw this reply. We're actually setting up a show with Ren for around August.
In January we're throwing a joint show with Collective with all the big names painting up Kid Robot Munnys, and a wall piece to go with it. The list of confirmed is coming together nicely!
