I recently acquired one in great condition from a long standing UAA member for £700.00. He even threw in a Peckham Rock postcard too! A good friend of mine saw I'd posted an image of the poster on Instagram and messaged me to see if I could get him one. Another long standing UAA member got in touch and had one available for £745.00. My mate was very happy with that. The seller even delivered it as he was located nearby.

I think you will be extremely fortunate if you pick one up for this price given another Forum Member struggled to get one for £700 a couple of weeks ago.

Edge to edge framed by PFG with museum art glass and all that jazz! Framing was around £200 alone.

Q: with this edge to edge framing, assuming there has to be a few millimeters of overlap beneath the frame edge, wouldn't this leave an indentation on the poster or print?

Not at all. I have framed and removed many prints like this. It causes no damage at all. If it did we wouldn’t do it.

Back board, print, wooden spacer (sits gently on print edge) frame

Im not a framer but I guess the pressure is to minimal to cause any form of indentation.. I only use a known and respected framer in PFG

Use the right framer is all I can say. I can see how this style could go wrong in unskilled hands

I've framed a few pieces like this. The only other thing you should ask your framer to do is put a barrier between the wood spacer and the paper. Sometimes the wood spacer is painted and this is a barrier but not ideal since the paints are usually not archival. I use an archival filmoplast tape that is adhered to the edge of the spacer (that rests on the print). There are acids in wood that can very quickly discolor the paper.

That said, it is beautifully framed.
