Hi everyone

I’ve been toying with the idea of selling my poster ever since going to the The Dran show earlier today.

I’ve decided to try and sell a few of my bits, one being this poster, in order to try and raise money to try and buy something from the current Dran show.

So, up for sale is my Banksy Soup Can poster.

I purchased it in the recent POW closing down sale. It does not have any damage to the ends from slipping in the tube. Unfortunately I did not get any POW tissue paper with mine.

I have the emails from POW regarding this sale and will forward these via email to the buyer.

Due to past shipping nightmares I am offering this to UK buyers only at this stage. Sorry!

Payment via PayPal (gift or you cover the fees).

That said I'm glad I framed my own long time ago!

What do you think the Banksy market will go towards in the next 5-10 years? 
Is he still releasing prints or original works for sale?
I'm not up to date with Banksy workout lately 'cause I focused my art research on other pathways

Honestly I don't know if they paid up (do not know how to verify it actually, if you do please point me to it), but that's a an official auction result.

I don't know that auction website, found googling for it. Based on your statement every auction result can be a fake because there is no transparency on buyers details and on payment transactions. (art should just use public blockchains to solve this issue)

Thus, we can take this result as TRUE, until otherwise demonstrated.

If you want an accurate value of this poster look at the sold ones on ebay, not some one off freak sale at a moody auction house.

Ofc value estimation would be made based on different price sources, at least making a weighted or normal average calculation.

Ebay gives a good sign of the selling pressure for a certain artist/artoworks but at least with Auction houses you have more (you should at least) chance that the work is original.

Prices are subjectives in art (but in some way works the same with every other market where the exchange between a medium and money is made) thus you can offer for an artwork 3 USD and the person behind you can instead bid 3 Millions for it. 
I wasn't looking to get a "fair price" for this artwork, I just wanted to show you all the fact that one of this works has been sold for that amount of money (which in my opinion is quite mad! but better for any of the early steppers).

Why would someone pay $4480 for a poster you can get on EBay any day of the week for $500?

It would not be wise 'take this as TRUE until otherwise demonstrated'. It probably isn't true, and even if it is then it's a one off result due to someone having more money than sense and not an indication of the actual value of a soup can poster.

I visited their Beverly Hills auction / show room, which is a pretty big space in the center of Beverly Hills with heavy foot traffic. It appears they probably get a lot of new buyers who dont know the value of these pieces and get carried away by the auction room, and I believe they picked that location for that reason as well.

Anyway the price on ebay for this artwork ranges from 700 to 1500 eur, without shipping.

But again would you trust more an auction house or a 50 feedback of 30$ each seller on ebay?

I think he forgot the T on cant in his last sentence, kinda mullered the context quite a lot. 

Maybe, it's the assuming that I think auction houses with High results are fake that confused me. I was more thinking of the fake listings that are always on there with COAs

Im confused now! i deleted that post as he then compares Juliens as legit over and ebay seller with 30 feedback, not sure he did accidentally leave the T off anymore! Maybe he just doesnt realise how crap an auction house they are, or even that there are sketchy ones!
