Sorry to hear about the damages. Mine had a tiny crushed corner which I worked out by rubbing a clean eraser over it. Did the job.

Received both mine in mint condition yesterday. Awful to hear about damages. Brand new items should be without flaws, I hope they offer some refunds.

Anyway, they are are absolute stunning prints.

Ive said it once and ill say it again, John and crew at Poster Mountain have been known to work mircales on damaged prints. Can set you back a little but if you want it restored, thats who I would use.

 Poster Mountain told me it can't be repaired aqueously due to the use of metallic inks. That is where they treat the whole print for perfect results. They can however burnish the crease making it less noticeable. Not exactly what I was hoping to hear from them.

Shame so many damaged, wasn't like they scrimped on the packaging as came nicely boxed with the bag etc. Just wasn't much tolerance to accommodate any movement and the folded cardboard seems to have caught some prints.

Cant wait to get mine to my trusted framer for 9am on Saturday morning as this is my first serious art purchase for 18 months and fits the exact spot in my new house.

I feel really sorry for those who had damaged prints. When I saw the packaging, I thought some might get dented in the middle, but not around the edges. From my experience so far, Avant Arte have quick customer service so please bear with them. If anyone has probs, I have several contact details within the gallery which I can pass on if that helps you out.

Despite this, I am so very grateful to Avant Arte for sending these flat. This means I can get mine float mounted without waiting for my framer to wait......... for it to be flat.

Please ignore any comments (or get flamed) about the printing process as this is really an amazing piece of ***ARTWORK***. I will emphasise this is about about ART and not process. Only those who have the print IN HAND are worthy of comment, so if you dont have one to look at, you comments to me are frankly worthless.

No offence, but only those who own it, can have a genuine opinion (did you miss out Coach or are you flaming?). I own a few Fridriks so can compare this against the others and this is easily better than the rest.

Flaming is negativity or sabotage - and just as bad as flippers in my opinion (ever done that?) There has been enough on here already which is why we should start to appreciate this work?

Give freedom to those of us who are probably a lot more informed about certain artists but not as active on the forum as you. Those of us who own this ART are more in a position to comment on this ART. Luckily, there are a lot members who scored on this release. 

You are entitled to you opinion, but as I can enjoy looking this ART it in person, I am happy to put my opnion across as I actually own it.

Just caught up with this thread. Damaged prints, why the f**k doesn't that surprise me. On so many occasions this forum has heard stories of artists, publishers and galleries sending goods out in sub-standard packaging. These guys should take a day out with the likes of Counter Editions, Other Criteria and White Cube to find out how to package and distribute prints properly and professionally. No point having a bloody wonderful website if you can't handle a simple task of distributing customers goods properly. And they're offering piddly compensation. Ridiculous! They should offer 100% refund or supply a new print with better packaging.
