As for me it started with the Obey stuff. First POW print was an Insect Skull print (in orange).

My first was the Grin-Reaper...its to die for, lush printing job!

First print/order placed with pow was for Banksy's Girl with balloon, D face dog save the queen with lime green sprayed ears & No 1/5 insect orange frankenstein.
Total cost of £205. A real bargain.

Monkey Queen (signed) off eBay July 2005 just under £200, from PoW it was three at once; Virgin Mary, CND & Grin Reaper all signed. Passed up on alot from there though due to funds... oh the hindsight!

First "street artist" type prints were Obey Slick Ricks in red and blue.

My first art print was an original, signed Dante Gabriel Rossetti for £5 in Oxfam. ( Probably worth £-4 K, interestingly enough when the Pre-Rapaelites were around they mastered the art of selling print editions, thus making many of them very rich. How history repeats itself.)
First Banksy's were Flying Copper and Bombhugger both at Santa's Ghetto 2003.

i'm quite happy to take my time and just pick up odd ones here and there, WSM is definetly top of the list, then a couple of old hewlett prints, patience is the key.

Signed CND Soldiers from POWs. I ummed and ahhed about it for ages. £150 is alot of money. There were loads of other Banksys on POW at the time. Mostly Rats and Mary.

Still have it... thought not framed at the moment. I had to take it out of it's cheap Habitat frame once it became worth more than my car.

Golf Sale and Big Sponge Finger both signed, 2003. Remember when POW had about 20 Banksy's all to purchase at your leasure. Things have certainly moved on at an incredible pace. What I regret the most is not buying Girl With Red Balloon when I had the chance.

A signed Bombhugger in 2004, for the stupendous price of £225 (framed!)

I'd read about Banksy somewhere (cant remember where now), and then seemed to start noticing his work around London - The Che's in Portobello Road and the various images in Brick Lane mostly....but I paticuarly liked the BombHugger image in Brick Lane - so, tracked one down and bought one.....never thought the prices would go through the roof like they have.

The biggest regret is that canvases, sprayed on packing crates etc and the life size cardboard Flying Coppers were available for (with hindsight) silly money.

i sold them pretty much after they sold out maybe made £50 on each.

when u hit hard times u sometimes have to sell.

still have a fair collection though.
