Banksy's prints were on the POW website for ages at a dirt cheap price before they sold out.
People forget this.

Can't see that situation improving over time, if anything it's going to get worse.Some might say those buying up these because they love the image have a hand in potentially creating a whole new market of fakes Big can of worms yet to open fully! |

There are fraudsters in every walk of life, and I don't know much about cars - but do know how to try to avoid being ripped off. There aren't 'go-too' organisations for buying art, and even those that offer advice aren't covered legally.

That doesn't make them needing their 'head checked', just not as knowledgeable as you and me.
