I thought that the only so called back door trolleys prints were from the LA Edition and they were the ones that were taped to the boxes of the prints and they always had some damage on them from the tape removal. I did not know there were backdoor POW ones as these would post date the Birmingham Brummie runs.

nope. official back-door's go back to 2003. i can vouch for that trolley's being genuine, not that my word counts for much but still.

If it is genuine then why is there not an enlarged pocture of the corner where the heavy weaponry stamp would normally go? It just looks like an amalgamation of pictures of an original trollers print and looks more like a bogus sale to me but I could of coarse stand corrected.

There were no stamps on the LA prints. Only the poodle stamp on the printers proofs. The heavy weaponry stamp began with Stop and Search if I remember correctly.

Art Wanted, by parp on Nov 10, 2012 10:43:01 GMT 1, I wouldn't throw terms around like 'official backdoor' print, it may confuse people into spending lots of money without realising what they are buying. A 'backdoor' print like this one will always be unofficial and not something that is a good investment in my eyes.
Take care when splashing wads of cash on fishy items. Do some research into what you are buying. Always be aware of ebay chancers and their dodgy second chance offers. Don't take sweets from strangers.

This trolleys is the same as the pow run and not the LA as the cave men sport slightly different hair styles and one holds a different weapon. I do not get why the close up is on the right hand corner of he print when the stamp (be there one or in this case of the back door, not) would be on the left hand side?

My Trolleys has the POW and Heavy Weaponry stamp, but my Grannies only has the POW stamp.

back-door's aren't stamped. a stamp is a seal of approval. back-door's are either proofs that should have been destroyed (like in the Modern Multiples video) or extra copies that have been printed behind the artist's back. back-door's might not be the moral option but if you can't afford a print from the official edition and couldn't live with a reproduction, back-door's are the only way forward.

I think what you are missing is that the seller of this backdoor trolleys does not show the corner where the stamp should be if it were kosher to prove that there is no stamp and it is in fact unstamped and backdoor. For all I know is that he is showing photos of a legit one!

There is no point bidding as the west country prince will be doing a run of these in the different colour ways in a few weeks time.
