I thought the tape pieces were interesting but smaller than I’d like - only A4...think bigger would have been nicer. Think these are tray framed, no glazing, which should look nice.

I think this is a very good question. I’d say in Australia with such sudden temperature differences, especially with Air con, they won’t last long at all. Perhaps the same in any residence that uses any kind of heating/ cooling system. Still $750 Is not far off some of her print pricing and they do look good.

Unfortunately the mixtape that streetartger grabbed was the one I had my sights set on, but it was gone by the time I got to MAMACHA (at 5:10 mind you).  There was only one framed mixtape still up for grabs when I arrived and I didn't love it.  Luckily, I spoke to Erik (the owner) and he told me he had a few unframed pieces that weren't even listed yet.  I was able to snag one, which Maya signed for me last night and I have in my possession now.  The back is taped up to prevent the colored tape from peeling.

As requested, here are some photos from the show.  The diamond panel was snatched up right after I got there by a local collector - the piece was beautiful in person and he is a very lucky man.  I also got to speak to Maya for quite a while about upcoming plans and her creative process - she was extremely personable as always.  Grabbed a photo with her in front of the huge X.

Sorry for snagging the blue one away 😃 but it was love ar first sight and Eric had been very helpful to acquire the piece. But yours looks also awesome as well... congrats! Nice little classic x-Style OGs for a good price.

I asked The Hole NYC if they are glazed, they responded: "Works are not glazed but Maya says that they are durable because they are made with industrial tape. They are also framed and behind glass." I hope mine lasts a long, long time....

Yep. I have a Very X and love it. One of her best, in a size that's not too difficult/expensive to get on the wall. I used to see these come up for sale more often in the past, less so now. Hope it gets up onto somebody's wall.

You are absolutely right. It's a stunner, perfectly sized and I really enjoy all the details. But as I am fortunate to have a nice OG from Maya I decided to let it go and I am hoping as well that the prints goes to someone how enjoys it as well and puts it on the wall
