I had personal email conversations with her in the past and this tile’s text totally describes my feeling towards her since then. Wouldn’t buy anything she releases in my lifetime... and not that I should - her work is getting progressively worse.

Wonder what happened in your conversations. She seems like a very nice person to me. I would've liked these if they were more similar to the FUCK piece at BTS which seemed closer to her X work with the Xs, drips, and vivid colors.

She was friendly at first, then started accusing me of trying to pull a fast one for the vinyl record that is time and again delivered to me damaged. To think I even spent my own money sending the damaged piece back to her. And when I showed her the conversation (about the matter which she is accusing me of) with her assistant, it shut her up as she has nothing better to say.

Worst customer service.

For the record (literally), I had to accept a product in a condition that is quite f*%ked. Straight from an artist studio.

I dont buy anything from Studiochromie anymore. Each time it arrived damaged and impossible to get any customer service. Once the artist himself apologized and replaced the artwork at his own cost, the second time Angelo agreed to take it back and refused the return package which was returned to me after I spent $65 to ship it back and claimed he never got it. So beware of buying anything from that site.... if anything is wrong it is a loss.

I'm also in contact with Maya regarding a COA she wanted to send me for my large Original. The thing is, I'm now in contact with her since MARCH 18 so almost over half a year - Ok, she had the residency in Brussels and the one in Italy - so I don't really blame her. In her emails she is always very kind and replies fast; she seems like a really nice person. Unfortunately, never met her personally. But I agree - I miss those Chem Trails, Xs, Multiverses... had some hope now with the LCD set. Also passed the tiles but a friend got one. I own 3 prints and 1 large OG from her - so I hope to add a bit more in the future.

I didn't purchase any tiles, as they were too pricey and I can't think of a good place to hang them.

I've personally dealt with Maya and her studio manager several times and they have both been very accommodating and friendly every time we've interacted. They're responsive to e-mail inquiries and have allowed me to the visit her studio for private viewings on more than one occasion. Say what you will about her some of her recent works (I'll agree these tiles and the Prince print were not my cup of tea), but she is still a very accomplished artist and her "chem trails" works are still iconic.

was excited to see the print... but won't be buying the f**kprint.  the art police will definitely squash that.  i thought it might be a print version of that large X installation from the show.  seems as though she's really on a FUCK kick ... with the tiles and now this print.

I missed out on the one I wanted (kinda don't like you right now Streetartger...ha ha) but I did manage to snag another cool one. $100 to ship is a little steep...but it does come framed. Hopefully the frame job is good.
